Obituary

     William Harold Chapman Jr. age 54 of Wolf Lake, died Monday, April 24, 2023 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born February 27, 1969 in St. Louis, MO, the son of William Harold Sr. and Sandra Kay (Williams) Chapman. He married Kathy Spicer on April 6, 1987.

     William is survived by his wife, Kathy Chapman of Wolf Lake; daughter, Alicia (Travis) Phillips of Thebes; sons, Cory Chapman of Wolf Lake, Ryan (Megan) Chapman of Wolf Lake; five grandchildren, Clayton, Willow, Hoyt, Easton and Bryar; father, William Harold Chapman Sr. of Wolf Lake; two sisters, Tancy (Danny) Cook of Benton, and Ruby Poole of Wolf Lake; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kay Chapman.

     William enjoyed going fishing and loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

     Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Trail of Tears State Forest Park in Jonesboro with Pastor Kenneth Verble officiating. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
