Terry Turner

    Terry Turner, age 76 of Buncombe, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1947 in Cobden, the son of Paul and Ellen (Coleman) Turner. He married Carolyn Newman on April 1, 1967 in Anna.

    Terry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Turner; three daughters, Renee Barresi, Penny Trimble and Amy Sturgeon; five grandchildren, Zeke Trimble, Dylan Sturgeon, Kennedy Terbrak, Olivia and Ryan Barresi; two great-grandchildren, Jayleigh Tate Terbrak and Sutton Sturgeon; siblings, Danny Turner, Lowell Turner, Patsy Bridgeman, Neta Mull, Vickie Glasco and Margie Sheffer; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Rodney Turner and a sister, Lawanda Hubbs.

    Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family as well as fishing and mowing.

    Funeral services for Terry Turner will be private. Interment will take place in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. His family will host a celebration of life at a later date. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
