Linda Eve Semler, age 76 of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of Brentwood, TN, died Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. She was born August 12, 1946, in Chicago, the daughter of Clifton William “Red” and Nellie (Treece) Davis. She married Lloyd Ronald Semler in June of 1983.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Semler of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Scottie (Chris) Hughes of Hendersonville, TN; step-son, Scott Lehigh of PA; two grandchildren, Houston Lloyd Hughes, and Alexandria Lynn Hughes; cousin, Larry (Cathy) Haley of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Clifton William Davis Pelc.
After graduating from Southern Illinois University, Linda went on to become one of the first female Polygraph Examiner, and taught courses to others learning the trade. She worked for various agencies throughout her career. Linda was devoted to her Lord and Savior, she loved teaching and sharing her love for the Lord with others. For the last fifteen years she has had her Kitchen Table Ministries where she led bible studies. She was very proud of her book publication, For This Purpose, that she shared with everyone. Linda will be dearly missed by everyone who knows her.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at Casper Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
