Kenneth James Stadelbacher, age 56 of Cobden, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, September, 3, 2023 at his home. He was born March 18, 1967 in Carbondale, the son of Charles and Rosie (Lambert) Stadelbacher.
Kenny is survived by his daughter, Krystin (PVT Sean) Sackett of Granite City; son, Christopher Stadelbacher of West Frankfort; parents, Charles and Rosie Stadelbacher of Cobden; six grandchildren, Kolton Stdelbacher, Juleyann, Landon, and Miley Grant, Jasmine and Arionna Stadelbacher; two brothers, Raymond (Tami) Stadelbacher of Kingwood, TX and identical twin, Carl Stadelbacher of Cobden; three aunts, Nancy Jackson of Anna, Marjorie Stadelbacher of Cobden and Jeanne Stadelbacher of Greenville, MS; two nieces, Cierra and Ashlynn Stadelbacher; two nephews, Cody Stadelbacher and Derek (Kate) Raydon; other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Kenny worked on the family farm, as locals know, Blueberry Hill as a field manager. He also owned and operated his own business, KW Electric.
Kenny loved going fishing with his oldest grandson, Kolton or even by himself and enjoyed trips down the Current River with his twin brother, Carl. Kenny was an avid baseball fan, rooting for both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs. Kenny was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden for many years.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Cobden. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. and until mass at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. The rosary will be said at 9:30 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the church and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
