Keith Robertson

       Keith Robertson, age 60 of Jonesboro, died Friday September 29, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 22, 1962 in Carbondale, the son of Billy and Lucille (Norton) Robertson. He married the love of his life, Dianna Gardner on January 31, 1997 in Anna.

       Keith was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Jonesboro and attended the Mill Creek Baptist Church, in recent years. He enjoyed working and was owner and operator of K and D Tree service. Keith worked as a maintenance supervisor for SIH and was retired from the Union County Highway Department. Keith enjoyed coon and squirrel hunting and spending time with his family.

       Keith is survived by his wife, Dianna Robertson of Jonesboro; daughter, Cassie (Anthony) Cobb of Lick Creek; grandson, Dalton Cobb; mother, Lucille Robertson of Jonesboro; siblings, Patty (Mike) Gray of Alto Pass, Gina (Seth) Iman of Salem, Greg (Lori) Robertson of Alto Pass, Jeff (Diane) Robertson of Anna, Lisa (Jack) Godwin of Jonesboro, Sara Robertson of Jonesboro, Scott (Marimar) Robertson of De Soto, and Steve Robertson of Murphysboro; two sisters-in-law, Joyce (Carl) Rendleman and Patricia Moehring, both of Jonesboro; fur baby companions, Spook and Otis; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Robertson; father and mother-in-law, John (Wanda) Gardner, and sister, Jennifer Robertson. Keith will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

       Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Doug Bridgeman and Davy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Mill Creek Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
