Junior Toler Obituary

       Junior Lee “Zip” Toler, age 78 of Anna, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born July 21, 1945 in Union County, the son of Cecil and Alberta (Cook) Toler.

       Junior is survived by his sister, Sharon Tomas of Anna; daughter, Missy Kay Toler; aunt, Betty Garrett of Jonesboro; numerous cousins; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles Cook, Bill Toler, and Donnie Ray Toler; two sisters, Peggy and Judy Toler.

       Junior worked at the Florsheim Shoe Factory in Anna until it closed. He was well known around Anna by the locals. He could always be seen sitting at the four way stop watching and waiving at traffic. He was a friend to everyone he met, he loved to joke and cut up. Junior found many friendships through the Sunshine Inn Senior group that he cherished.

       Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
