Debbie Sue (Mills) Newberry

       Debbie Sue Newberry, age 62 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 13, 1961 in Corbin, KY, the daughter of Lonzo and Martha (Cooper) Mills. She married Bobby Newberry on July 8, 1986, in Paducah, KY.

        Debbie is survived by her husband, Bobby Newberry; two sons, Zachary Ross (Maggie) Newberry and Hayden (Aimee) Newberry; two grandchildren, Lillian Sue and Gracelynn Jo all of Jonesboro; father, Lonzo Mills of Hamilton, OH; mother, Martha Williams of Paducah, KY; three brothers, JR (Bonnie) Mills of Middleton, OH, Lonnie (Aimee) Mills of Hamilton, OH and Matt (Shannon) Mills of Hamilton, OH; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leroy Williams and maternal grandparents, Edison & Virginia Cooper.

        For many years Debbie cared for children in her home daycare, she loved watching them grow up over the years having families of their own which she cared for as well. Debbie also worked for Anna Jonesboro National Bank as an account representative for ten years.

        Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Bobby Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions are preferred and may be made to a college fund for her grandchildren. Information and envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
