Carl Richard Tripp Sr.

     Carl Richard Tripp Sr., age 61 of Anna, died Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born October 7, 1961 in Anna, the son of Carl S. and Mary (Lambert) Tripp.

     Carl is survived by his four children, Rich Tripp (Jennifer Hansil) of Anna, Scott Tripp (Raechal Cunningham) of Jonesboro, Valerie Struthers (Wesley Huffman) of Carbondale, and Jeremy (Amanda) Stell of Ledbetter, Ky; eleven grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, and Evan Struthers, Shanna, Serena and Remzie Tripp, Bryce and RaeAnne Turner, Maggie, Laney and Bella Stell; three great-grandchildren, Nayvee, Grayson and Layton Sorenson; four sisters, Patsy (David) Derbas of Jonesboro, Alice Popernik of Jonesboro, Nora (Randy) Freeman of Murphysboro, Rosie Key of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

     Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Doug Allen officiating. Family and friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. and until the service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
