Audrey J. Wright

       Audrey J. Wright, age 71 of Ware, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born January 22, 1952 in Anna, the daughter of Wayne Karl “Kate” and Ivory (Wilson) Wright.     

         Audrey is survived by her brothers, Jim Wright of Ware, Richard Wright of Dexter, MO; sisters, Beverly Ellis of Grand Tower, Sharon Smith of Poplar Bluff, MO, Vicki Wilson of Ware, Debbie Wright of Cobden and Karen Wright of Ware; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Wright; sisters, Barbara Foster, Lois Dickerson, Ruth Allen, and Sondra Clover.

         Audrey was a member of the Wolf Lake Methodist Church. She loved to sing, collect Cabbage Patch Dolls and design floral arrangements. Audrey worked many places throughout the years, but her joy was being the bus monitor for the Shawnee School District. She loved riding the bus with the kids and watching them grow up.  

         Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Paul Mayberry officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
