Ygnacio Romero

Ygnacio Romero, 60 of Cobden, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born on May21, 1962 in Salvatierra, Mexico, the son of Ignacio and Maria de Jesus Andrade Romero. He married Leticia Lezama on January 9, 1989 in Salvatierra.

He is survived by his wife, Leticia of Cobden; his children, Ignacio, Cecilia and Rosa Romero, all of Cobden; his siblings, Gabriel, Nicolas, Maria and Rafaela Romero all of Salvatierra, Mexico and Miguel Romero of Paducah, Kentucky; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Ygnacio was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden.

Funeral mass for Ygnacio Romero will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of mass at 6:00. Additional services will be held when Ygnacio returns home to Salvatierra. Interment will take place at Cemetery Panteon De Santo Tomas Huatzindeo in Salvatierra. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
