Winnie Betancourt

    Winnie Betancourt, age 2 of Cypress, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She was born June 7, 2024 in Carbondale, the daughter of Taylor Archey and Jayvyon Betancourt.

    Winnie was precious, fun, spunky, an angel, full of life. To know her was to love her. She brought light into everyone’s life, and her smile lit up the room. Her personality was beautiful. She loved music, dancing, turtles, walks, reptiles, and her family. She will be missed by so many, and never forgotten.

    Winnie will be remembered by her mother and step-father, Taylor Archey and Kaleb Rogers; father, Jayvyon Betancourt; maternal grandmother, Amanda Albers; maternal grandfather, Barron Archey (Emily Blakely); paternal grandmother, Jeanine Franklin; bonus grandparents, Candice Stepter (Shane Vinson) and David Rogers; great-grandparents, Kim and Brenda Albers, and Mary and Dan Archey; siblings, Knox, Lenora, and Bentley Rogers; aunts and uncles, Isaac and Levi Archey, Lucy Blakely, and Jazmen and Zyah Betancourt; and other relatives.

    Services for Winnie will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will follow in McGinnis Cemetery, east of Anna. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to assist the family with expenses.
