Wilma J Sullivan

Mrs. Wilma Jean Sullivan, age 84 died at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born August 12, 1928 in Roxanna, IL, the daughter of Lonnie and Anna Harris Rion. She married Robert Eugene Sullivan on June 29, 1947 in Anna. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1997. Wilma is survived by her son, Terry (Barbara) Sullivan of Lick Creek; daughter in law, Cathy Sullivan of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Bill) Ecker, Rob (Amanda) Sullivan, Terry Eugene Sullivan; five great grandchildren, Garrison, Bryce and Lauren Ecker, Kaitlyn and Hailie Sullivan; two sisters in law, Joan Rion of Anna and Luetta Rion of Lick Creek; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sullivan; one son, Robert Lee Sullivan; three brothers, Gerald, Gilbert and Don Rion; and one sister, Juanita Briggs. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Jean Sullivan will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Ebenezer Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lick Creek with Rev. Ken Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at noon on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Ebenezer Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lick Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Ebenezer Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be available at the Church and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
