Mrs. Wilma Stroehlein, age 81 of Cobden, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at her home in Cobden. She was born July 29, 1930 in Wolf Lake, the daughter of John and Helen Hale Livesay. She married Ralph Stroehlein on December 16, 1952 in Wolf Lake. Wilma is survived by her husband Ralph of Cobden; three children, Roger (Debbie) Stroehlein, Cathy (Edward) Pitts and Mike (Margie Dailey) Stroehlein all of Cobden; six grandchildren, Jason and Jeff Stroehlein, Jessie Rogers, Nikki Pitts, Tracy and Ryan Stroehlein; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Tradon Stroehlein; three brothers, Harold (Evelyn) Livesay of Jonesboro, Edwin (Barbara) Livesay of Wolf Lake, Keith (Jeanne) Livesay of Ware; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Loyce Livesay. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Stroehlein will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Monday, November 2, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
