Wilma J. Roach

    Wilma J. Roach, age 88 of Anna, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at Deaconess Union County Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born February 20, 1938 in Villa Ridge, the daughter of Theodore and Hazel (Windings) Goins. On September 8, 1956 she married Jack Roach, Sr. in Jonesboro. They have shared 70 loving years of marriage.

    Wilma is survived by her husband, Jack Roach, Sr.; three daughters, Brenda (Terry) Bartruff, Angie (Jim) Pogue, and Laura (Dan) Guined; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Eddie (Donna) Goins; two sisters, Joyce Cameron and Lucille (Leonard) Temke; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jack Roach, Jr. and Shane Roach; brothers, Ted, Gary, Glen, and Rev. Robert Goins, and sisters, Wanda Carson, Cynthia White, and Betty Schultz.

    Wilma was a member of New Beginnings Community Worship in Anna. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Family and Church were her world. She will be dearly missed.

    Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at New Beginnings Worship Center in Anna with Pastor Lonnie Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Worship Center. Envelopes will be available at the church and Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
