Wilma H. Morris

Mrs. Wilma H. Morris, age 89 of Jonesboro, died at 7:04 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home. She was born May 22, 1926 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Frank L. and Helen Mae Tripp Graham. She married Alan "Sox" Morris on May 4, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1994. Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Jane (Glen) Goins and Judy (Mike) Stegle all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Tracey (Tom) Smith, Kim (David) Prater, Leigh Page, Daniel (Mandy) Page, Codie (Justin) Carver, Jodie (James) Dillow, Cortnie Stewart, Josh (Ashlee) Stegle; great grandchildren, Torie (Ryan) Carter, Tommie (Ricky) Smith, Colby (Sarah) Burns, Mahala (Dawson) Montfort, Alan Mikel (Jessica) Stewart, Trey (Amanda) Burns, Taylor (Luis) Peterson, Noah (Katy) Prater, Avery Page, Ethan Carver, Drew Page, Blake Dillow, Kylie Dillow, Caroline Stegle; great-great grandchildren, Liam Brazil, Baya Burns, Emme Stewart, Elly Burns, Finley Montfort and two more on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Alan "Sox" Morris, sister, Edith Davie, brothers, William Graham and Doyle Graham; special niece, Betty Baker; several nephews; great grandson, Caleb Burns; great granddaughter, Kate Stegle; and two brother in laws, Dan and Joe Morris. Wilma was a member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jonesboro for many years. She truly enjoyed her family and will be dearly missed. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma H. Morris will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Don Morris officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
