William Gordon Noble

Mr. William "Bill" Noble Sr., age 73 of Anna, died at 8:15 a.m.Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Jonesboro Rehab & Healthcare Center. He was born July 29, 1942, the son of Carl Edwards and Juanita (Dillman). He married Vieyonna "Vie" Ponder on June 2, 1994 in Anna. William is survived by his wife, Vie Noble of Anna; children, Brent Noble of Anna, Jr. (Sharon) Noble of Anna; Crystal (Matt) Shepard of Jackson, MO, Kathy Noble of Millcreek, Kim (Jody) Morgan of Scott City, MO; two step children, Ricky McAlister of Sikeston, MO, and Ashley McAlister of Anna; many grandchildren; one brother, George (June) Noble of Cabot, AR; and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dorothy Bigham. William loved fishing, camping and squirrel hunting. He was a retired member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 318. Funeral services for Mr. William "Bill" Noble Sr. will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
