William "Bill" F. Witthoft Jr.

William "Bill" F. Witthoft Jr. age 87 of Anna, died Monday, September 9, 2024 at Mercy Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born November 14, 1936 in Cambell Hill, the son of William F. and Mary (Brenneman) Witthoft. He married Delores Smith on March 16, 1963. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2010.

Bill is survived by his loving companion of many years, Judy Guthrie of Anna; her children, Mary Jane (Noble) White of Buncombe, Terri (Danny) Stewart of Reedsburg, WI, and Jim Prater of Buncombe; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Witthoft of Campbell Hill, Roy (Jackie) Witthoft of The Villages, FL, Don (Andrea) Witthoft of Anna and Wayne (Cynthia) Witthoft of Cape Girardeau, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and five brothers, John, Joseph, Bob, Tom and Dale Witthoft.

Bill spent his working career as a truck driver. He worked for E.T. Simonds for over 30 years. Bill never met a stranger he always was up for conversation with anyone.

Funeral services for William "Bill" F. Witthoft Jr. will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. and until the service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
