Wayne Livesay

Wayne Livesay, age 85 of Jonesboro, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Union County Hospital. He was born March 25, 1936 in Grand Tower, the son of George and Clara (Kenney) Livesay. He married Barbara Robertson on December 24, 1956 in Jonesboro. Wayne is survived by his wife, Barbara Livesay of Jonesboro; son, Kevin (Dena) Livesay of Ware; grandchild, Brandon Robertson of Ware; great grandchildren, Kayden, Aubrie, Kinley, and Olivia; siblings, Nancy, Pat, Katie, and Robert; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dorothy, Ben, Jim, Shirley, Linda, Betty, and Bonnie. Wayne was a member of the Ware Baptist Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Mason's. Wayne worked as a truck driver for many years. After his retirement he worked as a dump truck and backhoe operator. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
