Wanda Van Pickerill

Mrs. Wanda Van Pickerill, 85 of Anna, died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 in the Union County Long Term Care Center in Anna. She was born August 6, 1923 in West Frankfort, the daughter of Walter and Laura B. Stokes Pearce. She married John Wilson and later married Jay Van Pickerill. Wanda is survived by her daughter Patricia Sue Wilson of Jonesboro; niece, Tanya (Richard) Pengress of Anna; cousin, Sylvia Sue Bollig of Denver, CO; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jay Van Pickerill. Wanda grew up in the Dongola area, she later moved to Springfield. She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Springfield. Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Van Pickerill will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Kathy Montira officiating. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
