Wanda Perry

     Wanda Perry, 93, of Helotes, Texas, formerly of Jonesboro, Illinois, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Born on February 16, 1933, in Eldorado, Illinois, Wanda was the daughter of Elmer and Lillian Wilson. She married Robert Tull Perry on November 23, 1951. Together they raised two children Beth Ann Perry and Clifton Scott Perry.

     Wanda retired from the Anna National Bank after 31 years of service. In her retirement years she loved traveling the world to visit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     She was passionate in her faith and church. As a member of First Baptist Church, Anna she and her daughter were known for their devotion to missions and Operation Christmas Child/Shoebox.

     She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Beth Perry, Clifton (Brenda) Perry; her four adoring grandchildren, Tull (Patsy) Perry, Nicholas (Kaylyn) Perry, Spencer Perry, Emma (Ryan) Williams; five great-grandchildren, Bria Perry, Abel Perry, James Perry, Nathan Perry, and Noah Perry; her brother Gary Wilson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and nine siblings (Ruth, Ralph, Roberta, Charles, Paula, Bonnie, Don, Marilyn, and Joyce).

     Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Clifton Perry officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.      Those attending Wanda’s celebration of life are encouraged to wear purple. It was her favorite color!
