Wanda Lee

Wanda Lee, age 58 of Jonesboro, died at 5:45 am Thursday, August 2, 2012 in the Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois. Wanda was born December 7, 1953 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of Jessie Wayne and Norma Sue (Brown) Lee. Wanda was a member of the Universal Church of Native Americans. Wanda was proud of her Native American heritage and being part of the Cherokee, Apache and Blackfoot nations. Wanda was accomplished at making Native American jewelry and clothing. Wanda is survived by one son, Chad (Annette) Butler of Anna; her mother, Sue Lee of Jonesboro; one grandson, Dakota Butler; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Wayne Lee. Funeral services for Wanda will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Jay Franklin officiating. Interment will be at the St. John's Cemetery.
