Wanda B. Goodman

Mrs. Wanda B. Goodman, age 91 of Jonesboro, died at 3:47 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born September 29, 1921 in Mill Creek, the daughter of Cletus Henry and Selma Clyde Dillow Barnhart. She married O. Ordell Goodman on May 18, 1938 in Jackson, Mo. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1990. Wanda is survived by her three sons, Lloyd (Brenda) Goodman of Anna, Jerry (Bonnie) Goodman of Wolf Lake, Harley (Linda) Goodman of Peoria, AZ; four daughters, Audrey Davis of Jonesboro, Rose Mary (Joe) Perkins of Indianapolis, IN, Joyce (Larry) Anderson of Anna, Clara May (George) Nehring of Vergens; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Wardell Barnhart of Anna; Doyle (Charlotte) Barnhart of Chester, Wayne (Louise) Barnhart of Louisville, KY, Carroll (Janet) Barnhart of Maples, FL; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, O. Ordell Goodman; daughter, Dottie Lipe; two infant daughters; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; two sisters and three brothers. Wanda was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church for many years. After retirement, Wanda enjoyed embroidering; quilting and crafts. She was extremely proud of her twenty three years as a cancer survivor. Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda B. Goodman will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Dongola. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
