Walter Tellor

Mr. Walter Tellor, age 80 of Dongola, died at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in the Jonesboro Rehab and Nursing Care Center. He was born March 6, 1933 in Alto Pass, the son of Melvin and Alma Fox Tellor. He married Irene Smith in Jonesboro. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Irene Tellor of Dongola; children, Patricia Broadway of Dongola, Ronnie (Lois) Tellor of Dongola, Butch (Jeannie) Tellor of Elco, Shelba Reed of Cobnden, Rickie Tellor of Tamms, Carla (Kenneth) Chapman of Jonesboro, Junior Tellor of Jonesboro, and Billy Tellor of Anna; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Friese of Alto Pass, Esther Barker of Anna; brother, Donald Tellor of Vienna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Dukes, parents; brothers, Elmer, Henry and Alfred Tellor; sisters, Ruby Sims, Ellen Smith, and Evelyn Tanner. Funeral services for Mr. Walter Tellor will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
