Walter S. Jones

Mr. Walter S. Jones, 84, of Cobden, passed away at 11:15 A.M., Friday, November 9, 2012 at his home. He was born June 15, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Walter and Loretta Fields Jones. Walter is survived by his sister, Alice Potts of Golconda and special friends, Reba Childers and Eugene Childers of Cobden. He was preceded in death by his parents. Walter was a member of the Landmark United Pentecostal Church.Graveside services for Mr. Walter S. Jones will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Anna City Cemetery with Rev. Charles Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
