Wallace "Wally" Henry Prystalski, age 90 of Alto Pass, died Friday, October 16, 2020 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born November 12, 1929 in Chicago, the son of Henry John and Ida Prystalski. He married Judith Ann "Judy" Jenter in Oak Forrest together they shared 56 years of marriage. She preceded him in death May 20, 2019. Wally is survived by his son, Henry John Prystalski of St. Genevive, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Prystalski and his parents Henry and Ida Prystalski. Wally worked as an electrician for over 50 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1952. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Rev. Davy Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Dutch Ridge Cemetery with military rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna and the United States Navy funeral honor team of St. Louis. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. All those attending will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines.
