Virginia L. Casey

Virginia L. Casey, age 76 of Anna, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home. She was born June 25, 1944 in Sikeston, Mo, the daughter of Elisha Alexander and Bunav (Williams) Magee. She married William H. Casey on May 5, 1973. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2009. Virginia is survived by her children, Billy Joe (Christina) Lee of Norris City, Bobby Lee of Anna and LaDonna Sue (Tracey) Dismore of Frostproof, FL; twelve grandchildren, Crystal Lee, Stacy Lee, Christopher (Frankie) Lee, Wendy (Adam) Mays, Dusty Lee, Rusty Lee, Brooke (Chris) Benefield, Brittany Lee, Steven (Tiffany) Todd, Bryan (Jessica) Todd, Nikki (Roger) Rowan, and Megan (Ryan) Chapman; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Geraldine Llewelyn of Anna and Barbara (Jim) Duckworth of Anna; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Casey; daughter, Dorothy Murray; grandchild, Mazie Mays; five sisters; seven brothers; and special friend, Fred Spurlock. Virginia was a member of the Dongola Lutheran Church for many years. She worked as the office manager for Shawnee Development and also was a beautician. Virginia was a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time at the post with her friends. The family would like to give a gracious thank you to all of her D.O.R.S. workers for their love and support over the years. Interment will be held privately for the family.
