Violet Mayberry

Mrs. Violet Mayberry, age 86 of Anna, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Violet was born June 20, 1931 in Granite City the daughter of William and Mary (Hinkle) Cline. She married Carl M. Mayberry August 5, 1947 in Anna. Violet loved attended church. She was well known for her wonderful cooking. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and visiting with her many friends. Violet is survived by her daughter Darlene (Chris) Ury of Tamms and her son Melvin Mayberry of Anna, other relative and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law Floyd (Hazel) Cline and one sister and brother-in-law Elsie (Edsel) Jones. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 in the Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle in Jonesboro with Rev. Jim McLane and Rev. Geoff Bond officiating.
