Violet A. Lence

Mrs. Violet A. Lence, age 90 of Potosi, Mo., formerly of Anna, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Potosi Manor in Potosi, Mo. She was born September 25, 1925 in Anna, the daughter of James and Grace (Keller) Snell. She married Wayne Solomon, he preceded her in death. Later she married, Frank G. Lence on April 3, 1986. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2007. Violet is survived by her brother, Bill Snell of Potosi, MO.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and sister in law, Maxine Snell. Violet was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Potosi. She and her first husband, Wayne, owned and operated Solomon's Café in Anna for several years. Funeral services for Mrs. Violet A. Lence will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
