Mrs. Violet M. Dillow, age 99 of Jonesboro, died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the Integrity Healthcare in Anna. She was born July 25, 1917 in Mill Creek, the daughter of William R. and Mary (Hileman) Fink. She married Harold Dillow on September 12, 1936 in Buncombe. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2005. Violet is survived by her son, Gene (Kathern) Dillow of Jonesboro; daughter, Patricia (Larry) McIntosh of Anna; four grandchildren, Shelly Dillow, Lane Dillow, Gary Dillow, and Kim (Nathan) Menees; four great-grandchildren, Cali Dillow, Hallee Menees, Alayna Menees, and Luke Menees; one great-great-grandchild, Avery; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Dillow; and three brothers, Harold Fink, Leroy Fink and Doyle Fink. Violet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro for many years. She retired from Choate Mental Health after working thirty years as a Mental Health Technician. She was very proud of her career as a Mental Health Technician and enjoyed caring for her patients. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Violet M. Dillow will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the St. Johns Cemetery in Dongola with Bill Littrell officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the Cemetery. Interment will be in the St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Johns Cemetery. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
