Vincent Y. Vercide

Vincent, age 20, of Cobden, Illinois passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He is survived by his parents, Joel and Luisa Vercide of Cobden, one sister, Theresa, family and friends. He was a second year student at Southeast Missouri University.He was a good friend who was generous with his time and always found humor in many things. He was never one to ask for much yet he was helpful and obedient to the end.This deeply sorrowful and unbearable time of loss can only be eclipsed by the love we have for you in our hearts and the knowledge that you are in the hands of God, whose love will fill you with immeasurable joy.Funeral mass for Vincent will be on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Cobden. Father Peter Balili will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery followed by dinner at the Parish hall. Family& friends will gather from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the mass at St. Joseph's.
