Vickie Sue Glasco

     Vickie Sue Glasco, age 68, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born July 1, 1957 in Anna, the daughter of Paul and Ellen (Coleman) Turner. She married DuWayne Glasco June 6, 1981 in Cobden..

     Vickie is survived by her loving husband, DuWayne Glasco; children Greg Glasco, Mark (Amy) Glasco, Andrea Glasco, Amanda Glasco (fiancée Michael Winters); grandchildren, Makayla, Tylar, Brad, Eli, Kooper, Gracie, Cami, and Keaten; great-granddaughter, Willow; sisters, Neta Mull, Margie Sheffer, and Patsy Bridgeman; brothers, Lowell and Danny Turner; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandchild, Harper, and siblings, Rodney Turner, Lawanda Hubbs, and Terry Turner.

     Vickie was a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church of Buncombe. She worked at Southern Illinois University for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and solving puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

     Funeral services for Vickie Glasco will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour of 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
