Vera Fae Casper

Mrs. Vera Fae Casper, age 85 of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Anna, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Casa De La Luz Hospice Facility in Tucson, Arizona. She was born February 16, 1928 in Buncombe, the daughter of Louie Leo and Ivah Opal Halterman Pulliam. She married Conrad Houston Casper on December 6, 1947 in Anna. Vera is survived by her loving husband of sixty five years, Conrad Houston Casper of Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Connie Rae Casper Collins of Phoenix and Kimberly Kay Casper Franklin of Mesa; three grandchildren, Lisa Scarpinato, Patrick Collins, David Franklin; two great-grandchildren, Dustie Smith and Taylor Scarpinato; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Owen, Thomas and Louie Pulliam Jr.; and one sister, Eula Mae Pulliam Junkunc. Vera was an adult bible teacher at the First Assembly of God Church in Tucson, Arizona for many years. She was an award winning hairstylist and a member of the Tucson Quilters Guild. Vera was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Fae Casper will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Cecil Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
