Velma I Adams

Mrs. Velma I. Adams, age 93 of Arlington, TX., formerly of Mounds, IL., died at 12:40 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX. She was born July 16, 1917 in Mounds, IL., the daughter of Ed. B. and Edith N. Hinkle Adams.Velma is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Hardy of Arlington, TX.; two grandchildren, Steve Hardy of Arlington, TX., and Cheryl Springer of Burbank, CA.; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Edna Jo Graves of Cypress, CA.; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Lola Essex. Velma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds, IL., for many years.Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Velma I. Adams will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Anna City Cemetery. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna in Charge of Arrangements.
