Tonya K Duty

Mrs. Tonya K. Duty, age 59 of Cobden, died at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born July 11, 1951 in Carbondale, IL, the daughter of C.R. and Audrey Bryant Dusch. She married Francis Duty on July 11, 1974 in Murphysboro. Tonya is survived by her husband Francis Duty of Cobden; four children, Adam (Becky) Duty of Cobden, Tara Stanley of Carbondale, Darrin (Tonya) Duty of Alto Pass, Diana Duty of Alto Pass; mother, Audrey Dusch of Carbondale; ten grandchildren, Dylan Duty, Hannah Wade, Kyle Campbell, Bridget Duty, Kacey Mason, Brandi Duty, Jordan Duty, Zach Hale, Nicki Jackson, Shayne Hale; two great grandchildren, Kylie Hale and Korbin Hale; one brother, Tony Dusch of Kentucky; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father. She graduated from Shawnee Community College as a Certified Nurse Assistant. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the family home at 125 Duty Lane in Cobden, Illinois. Services and burial will be private at the Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the family home and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
