Tommy Joe Walker

Tommy Joe Walker, age 79 of Jonesboro, died Thursday, November 14, 2024 at his home. He was born March 12, 1945 in Anna, the son of Glen Eugene and Olive Ferne Walker.

Tom is survived by his friends, Brenda Noble and Brent Hileman and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in Anna and later at Ensign Bickford. He was a talented woodworker and skilled mechanic. He was an avid reader and collected books.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna . Interment will follow.
