Tina Dawn (Abernathy) Horton

Tina Dawn Horton, age 63 of Anna, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 18, 1961, in Anna, the daughter of Larry Joe Abernathy and Doris Jean Jackson. She married Jeff Horton on November 8, 2006, in Jonesboro.

Tina is survived by her husband, Jeff Horton; children, Melissa (Dustin) Hale and Ryan Horton; grandchildren, Peyton Hale, Azalea, Willow and Simon Horton; two great-grandchildren; mother, Doris Samuels; step-father, Joel (Linda) Samuels; brothers, Todd (Sandy) Samuels, Tracy (Tonia) Samuels, Troy Samuels, Taylor Samuels and Tony Samuels; sisters, Terri (Bill) Elliott, Tricia Samuels (Phillip Wright), Tamra Samuels and Tori Samuels; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Abernathy, brothers, Timothy Samuels, Jarrod and Jason Abernathy and a sister-in-law, Crystal Samuels.

Tina loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed animals, flowers, shopping and listening to music. She was always ready to enjoy a good cup of coffee. A person's life cannot be summed up in one paragraph. Those that knew and loved Tina will certainly miss her.

The family of Tina Horton will host a celebration of her life at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Anna VFW, Carroll P. Foster Post 3455. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
