Timothy Suhling

Timothy Suhling, age 63 of Jonesboro, formerly of Shipman, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Deaconess Illinois Union County Hospital of Anna. He was born August 20, 1961 in Collinsville, the son of David and Peggy (Edwards) Suhling. He shared 21 wonderful years with his wife Diane (Upchurch) Suhling.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Diane Suhling; beloved pets, Pork Chop, Monster, and Squirrel; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Todd Suhling, and beloved pets, Penny and Poncho.

Known to many as the "toy man," Timothy had a talent for crafting wooden toys and furniture. He took pride in his workshop, especially using his own sawmill to cut lumber for different projects. He loved the woods. Timothy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Ron Thorn officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
