Timothy Darren Samuels

Mr. Timothy Darren Samuels, age 45 of Anna, died at 11:54 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born April 28, 1968 in St. Charles, Illinois, the son of Joel D. Samuels and Doris Jean Jackson Samuels. He married Tammy Hinkle on June 22, 1991 in Ware. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Samuels of Anna; daughter, Jadyn Samuels; father, Joel D. (Linda) Samuels of Alto Pass; mother, Jean Samuels of Anna; brothers, Todd Samuels of Dongola, Tracy (Tonia) Samuels of Dongola, Troy Samuels of McClure, Tony Samuels of Anna, Taylor Samuels of Anna; sisters, Tina (Jeff) Horton of Anna, Terri (Bill) Elliott of Murphysboro, Tricia Samuels of Jonesboro, Tamra Samuels of Anna, Tori Samuels of Anna; father and mother in law, Jerry and Deanie Hinkle of Jonesboro; brother in law, Tyler Hinkle of Anna; nieces and nephews, Melissa Hale of Dongola; Ben, Matt and Sarah Elliott of Murphysboro, Jackson and Nic Samuels of Jonesboro, Tanis, Taya, Taryn, Tayten, and Tessa Samuels of Dongola, Peyton Samuels of Anna, Trenton Samuels of Anna, Dathan, Travis Samuels, and Alexa Hinkle all of Anna. Tim attended the United Missionary Baptist Church in Lick Creek. He was an SIU Alumni and avid photographer. He worked at Real Rehab in Vienna as a Physical Therapy Assistant since 1997. He truly enjoyed his job, and thought of everyone he worked with as family. Tim was a loving husband, father and friend; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Darren Samuels will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Paul Tirey officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
