Timothy Kevin Casey, age 61 of Anna, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born May 9, 1959 in Anna, the son of Curtis Griffin and Barbara Geraldine (Toler) Casey. He married Sally Whitehead on May 18, 2004. Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Sally Casey of Anna; children, James (Katie) Casey of Anna, Tiffany Winn of Jonesboro, and Charles Whitney of Anna; seven grandchildren, Zachary Casey, Shane Casey, Blaze Smalley, McKenna Casey, Easton Casey, Avery Casey and Adrian Doerflein; siblings, Bradley (Karen) Toler of Jonesboro, Susan McRaven of Anna, Sandra (Brian) Meadows of Mounds, Pat (Jennifer) Casey of Dongola, John Casey of Dongola, Nancy Williams of Oklahoma; two sisters in law, Shirley Loutzenhiser of Ohio and Cheryl Rion of Anna; brother in law, Bradley Corzine of Dongola; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Jerry Casey, Carol Corzine, Brian Thompson, and Jeff Casey; and grandparents, Dock and Ethel Toler. Timothy was a graduate of Dongola High School class of 1977. He worked for Ensign Bickford and later worked many years as a D.S.P. for various cilia homes in the area. His most loved past time was spending time with all his grandchildren. He coached different sports for the Dongola School and was an avid genealogist. He enjoyed learning about his family lineage and helping others learn about theirs. Timothy was a great story teller and everyone will miss his Facebook posts. Funeral services will be held privately for the family. Friends are invited to a come and go visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the McGinnis Cemetery. Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. The maximum occupancy of the building will be limited to 50 people at one time.
