Mr. Theodore Sherfy, Jr., age 68 of Jonesboro, died at 3:10 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2011 at his home. He was born March 24, 1943 in Venice, Illinois, the son of Theodore and Florence Spangler Sherfy, Sr. He married Connie Lu Aldridge on September 12, 1966 in Odessa, Texas. Theodore is survived by his wife, Connie Sherfy of Jonesboro; 3 children, Alan Earl (Tammy)Sherfy of Pryor, OK, Donald Aaron Sherfy of Jonesboro, and Samuel Christopher Sherfy of Tulsa, OK; 7 grandchildren, Justen Alan Sherfy, Fawncara Marie Sherfy, Ashley Dawn Sherfy, Justin Ryan Sherfy, Brandon Tyler Sherfy, Christopher Damien Sherfy, and Sidney Rain Sherfy; 5 sisters, Jerry Seibert, Suez Taylor, Nathleen Moore, and Charlotte Martin all of Granite City, IL, and Debbie Stewart of Tulsa, OK; 1 brother, Cecil Martin of Tulsa, OK; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 sister, Savannah Martin. Visitation for Mr. Theodore Sherfy, Jr. will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorials may be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
