Terry Lee Tucker

Terry Lee Tucker, age 73 of Dongola, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1952 in Alto Pass, the son of Raymond and Myrtle (DeHart) Tucker. On June 26, 1976, he married Barbara Hartline at Kornthal Church in Jonesboro.

Terry is survived by his wife, Barbara Tucker; sons, Randy Cooley and Josh (Heather) Tucker; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda (Paul) Sutliff and Sue Hartline; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded by his parents; son, Chris Cooley, and brother-in law, Orville Hartline.

For many years, Terry was an over the road truck driver for Gilster-Mary Lee and other companies. Later he delivered concrete for Illini Ready Mix. Terry was a coffee and food enthusiast. Most mornings, he could be found drinking coffee with his buddies at Burger King. He's lovingly described by his family and friends as an "agitator". He will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Terry Tucker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Larry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery west of Dongola. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Johns Cemetery. Envelopes are available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
