Teddy Earl "Ted" Holderfield

Mr. Teddy Earl "Ted" Holderfield, age 77 of Cobden, died at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his home in Cobden. He was born October 19, 1935 in Cobden, the son of Earl Leonard and Dora Lorraine Dodson Holderfield. He married Joann Miner on September 25, 1993 in Anna. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Joann Holderfield of Cobden; two daughters, Rhonda (Jose) Hernandez of Accomac, VA, Lisa (Darrin) Hubbs of Murphysboro; one son, Vincent Roberts of Michigan; two step-daughters, Paula Holderfield of Cobden and Carolyn Nunn of Goreville; step son, Jeffery (Donna) Holderfield of Herrin; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Keith (Alison) Holderfield of Dongola; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Janice Cook and Alice Young; infant brother, Roger Holderfield; and brother in law, Bill Young. Ted was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden. He worked many years for New Era Dairy in Carbondale. Funeral services for Mr. Teddy Earl "Ted" Holderfield will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden with Rev. Kenneth Mixen and Rev. Don Pearson officiating. Interment will be in the Limestone Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holderfield Family. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the Church.
