Ted B Spurlock

Mr. Ted B.Spurlock, age 74 of Carey Ohio, formerly of Anna died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born October 16, 1938 in Anna, the son of Ervel and Nellie Fisher Spurlock. He married Deanna L. Hankla on November 17, 1957 in Anna. Ted is survived by his wife, Deanna L. Spurlock of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; three children, Tammy (Bob) Buckland, Todd (Jill) Spurlock, and Tim (Connie) Spurlock all of Carey, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Keith, Ben, Kelley, Molly, Bobbi, Alexa and Amber; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Ted was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ted retired from Windsor Automotive as the Vice President and Plant Manager of a manufacturing facility in Singapore. Later he owned and operated Tri-County Fencing for ten years. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ted B. Spurlock will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Casper Cemetery in Anna with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or Fairhaven Community. Envelopes will be available at the Cemetery and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
