Tamara Lynne (Sauber) Chastain, 64 of Pennsville, NJ, went home to her Lord and Savior on March 3, 2026. Tamara was born on September 16, 1961, to Madeline "Midge" (Ritter) Sauber and John Sauber in Jackson, Michigan where she grew up. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Tamara trusted the Lord through every season and strived to live a good life full of love.

Tamara and her husband Marc were married April 19, 1986, and moved to Pennsville, NJ in 1989 with their three children Andrew, Rachael, and Emily. Her second home was the cabin that she and Marc built together, nestled in the peaceful Shenandoah mountains.

Tamara was a beloved wife, mother, and friend, but the title that made her most proud at the end of her life was grandma, or "beanie" as she was affectionately called by her three grandchildren, Sarah, Audrey, and Henry.

Tamara is survived by her husband Marc, three children Andrew (Katie), Rachael (Eddie), and Emily (Eric), three grandchildren (Sarah, Audrey, Henry), brothers Charles Sauber, John Sauber, sister Michelle Armstrong, four half-siblings, and countless cousins and friends along with "furbabies and granddogs" who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 7th and will be followed by a Memorial Service at Laughrey Funeral Home in Pennsville NJ.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Alto Pass Cemetery. Interment will follow. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
