Susie Berniece Kelley

Mrs. Susie Berniece Kelley, age 88 of Doniphan, Missouri, formerly of Anna, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 in Doniphan. She was born August 12, 1926 in Union County, the daughter of Roy and Lena Wildy Brimm. She married Roscoe F. Kelley on October 31, 1969 in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1997. Bernice worked at Kroger for many years and enjoyed her Kroger family immensely, in addition to meeting each and every customer. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed sewing and was very proud of her sewing accomplishments. She was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan. Bernice was a member of the Jonesboro First Baptist Church. Bernice is survived by one daughter, Donna (John) Gallion of Doniphan, Mo; one grandson, Jake (Shannon) Robinson; three great-grandchildren, Macie Robinson, Cooper Robinson, and Justin Hickam; one great-great grandson, Aidan Hickam; and two sisters, Betty Duschl and Carolyn Timms both of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Roscoe F. Kelley; one grandson, Jeff Hickam; one brother, Harold Brimm; and one sister, Helen Kelley. Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Berniece Kelley will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.Memorial contributions may be made to Jonesboro First Baptist Church.
