Susanne "Susie" Mchenry

Susanne "Susie" McHenry, age 80 of Anna, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born November 9, 1939 in Anna, the daughter of Claude E. and Opal Alene (Phillips) Davis. Susie is survived by her long-time friend, Harold Williams of Anna; daughter, Cheryl (Bon) Stone of Makanda; Tyler (Jodi) Hudson, whom she loved as a grandson, and their daughter Madi; sister, Shirley Fuller of Anna; other relatives and friends. She was preceded death by her parents. Susie was an avid quilter, she enjoyed doing puzzles with Madi, and she loved her cats. She worked as a dog groomer running Susie's Pet Grooming for 43 years. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Anna Cemetery with Jason Forby officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
