Sue Egner

     Sue Egner, age 85 of Washburn, formerly of Anna, died Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born July 23, 1940 in Ava, the daughter of Henry “Frog” and Nora (Davis) Bryan. She married Kent Stanley Egner on July 6, 1958.

     Sue is survived by her loving husband, Kent Egner Sr. of Washburn; son, Kent Stanley II (Ginger) Egner of Larose; daughter, Teresa (Lee) Grebner of Washburn; granddaughter Charlyn (Eric) Heinrich; eight step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Erica; twenty-one, step great-grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Van Egner; siblings, Betty Mueller, Henrietta Youngblood, Myrtle Schulter, Charlotte Toler, Joyce Sullivan and Lawrence “Butch” Bryan.

     Sue always enjoyed a good game of Bingo with her friends. She loved to dance and laugh and she will be truly missed.

     Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Villa Ridge. Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
