Mr. Stephen Wallenmeyer, age 62 of Ware, died at 1:13 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born October 16, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Kermit and Maraim Penzoil Wallenmeyer. He married Janet Davis on November 29, 1980 in Jonesboro. Stephen is survived by his wife, Janet Wallenmeyer of Ware; one son, Matthew Wallenmeyer of Jonesboro; mother, Mariam Wallenmeyer of Huntsville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Caleb, Skyler, Autumn, Erin and Christine; three sisters, Janet Szfron of Huntsville, Alabama, Leta Carr of Mulkeytown, Myra Doolin of Tyler, Texas; four brothers, Jerry Vaughn of Benton, Gary Vaughn, Robert Irby, and David Irby all of Ziegler, Illinois; nieces & nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. The family would like to give a special thank you to Danny and Carol Hancock and family and Danielle Henson and family. Stephen worked as a truck driver and was employed by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri for many years. Funeral services for Mr. Stephen W. Wallenmeyer will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jason Podd officiating. Interment will be in the Busby Cemetery.
