Shirley V. Maloy

Shirley Maloy, age 82 of Cobden, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1, 2018 in the Union County Hospital. She was born October 6, 1935 in Union County, the daughter of John F. and Ethel (Norris) Sanders. She married Gary Maloy in 1982 in Makanda. Shirley is survived by her husband, Gary Maloy of Coben; daughter, Cheryl (John) Lehr of Cobden; sons, Lonnie Bobb of Cape Girardeau, MO and Ronnie Bobb of Cobden; two grandchildren, Joshua Bobb and Brittany Howell; two great grandchildren, Jeffery Kade Lence and Reece Nicole-Kay Lence; cousin, Larry (Sandy) Norris; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jane Roberts. Shirley was an avid bingo player and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services for Shirley Maloy will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Pastor David Stewart officiating.
