Shirley Isaacs

Shirley Isaacs, age 83 of Cobden, died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Integrity Healthcare in Anna. She was born June 20, 1936, the daughter of Walter E. and Eva Jane (Hoyle) Absher. She married Robert "Bob" Isaacs on May 29, 1954 in Crown Point, Indiana. Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Isaacs of Cobden; children, Marilyn (Frank) Kohnke, Teresa (Steve) Hook, Sandra ( Ray) Lewis, Robert Jr. (Tracy) Isaacs, and Michael (Sheila) Isaacs; grandchildren, Brittany (Robert) Kohnke, Steven and Christopher Hook, Shannon Hein, Brook Pulido, Amanda Stone, Tabitha Isaacs, Heather Mailloux, Donald "Bubba" Isaacs, and Michael Isaacs; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Absher, Frank Hartline, Charlie Hartline; her dearest friend, Dorothy Mitchell and her family; beloved pets, Buddy, Boudreaux, and Ellie May; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter Absher and Jack Absher; sisters, Rosemary and Sue. Shirley loved to travel with her husband Bob and she enjoyed fine dining. At this time, no services will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
